Kunsthalle Helsinki’s Baby Mondays explore Anu Tuominen’s exhibition with the guidance of arts educators and the museum’s own guide.
Baby Mondays are open to visitors with babies under one year of age. There is a designated area for babies to crawl and examine colours and shapes. The guided tours have a relaxed pace that allows babies to examine the works in their own time. Babies can be taken on the tour carried. Participants are asked to leave prams at the museum entrance as many exhibition items are situated on the floor.
The Baby Mondays are hosted by Iisa Juva and Liini Laes. Iisa is an arts educator and writer. She works as a content producer and teacher and produces events for children. Liini Laes is an arts educator and producer at the children’s cultural initiative LAKU (Lastenkulttuurituottamo). Liini works as a teacher, guide and instructor in the field of visual arts and audience development. She enjoys contrasts, surprises and soap bubbles.
The event fits 40 babies. No pre-bookings. We will announce via the Facebook event when capacity is full.
Kunsthalle Helsinki can be accessed with prams from the backyard. Turn left at the entrance to the Finnjävel restaurant (Ainonkatu 3), the entrance is at the back of the yard. The doors are opened at 12:45pm.
Entrance: 14 € / 8 € / Museum Card
