Start your day with qigong exercise, in the middle of art!
Held in the morning, each giqong class moves through a series of soft movements done in a standing position, calmly, slowly, following the breath.
Qigong is an ancient practice for exploring and shaping one’s life energy. Done regularly, the practice develops mobility and balance in the body. It also serves to relax tense and tired muscles, as well as enhancing concentration and mental strength.
The classes are led by Aki Hovivuori, an experienced qigong instructor.
The classes are open to all, regardless of age or movement background. No previous experience is needed. The oldest of Aki’s students are in their 90s.
