Spend a unique evening surrounded by art and exceptional food in Alia Ali’s In Light of… exhibition.

Taking place in September, Art Dinner offers an opportunity to experience the exhibition in a new way. Shared time around the table, a carefully crafted menu and a house filled with art come together to create a memorable evening. It also makes a wonderful gift for anyone who appreciates art and good food.

The four-course menu, created by Chef Henri Alén of Restaurant Finnjävel, takes its inspiration from the artworks in the exhibition. Throughout the evening, guests will hear short introductions to both the art and the dishes. Before each course, Alia Ali will introduce one of the artworks, while Henri Alén will share the ideas and inspirations behind the menu. The evening also includes a brief introduction to the exhibition.

Dietary requirements can be indicated when purchasing tickets.

All food served is lactose-free. Vegetarian and gluten-free menu options are available. Unfortunately, dairy-free and vegan options are not available.

Getting Here

Doors open at 7 pm and dinner begins at approximately 7.30 pm.

Entrance: Helsinki Kunsthalle main entrance.

Accessible entrance: From Ainonkatu, continue past the entrance to Restaurant Finnjävel and turn into the Kunsthalle courtyard. At the far end of the courtyard, you will find a door with an intercom marked Taidehalli Lippukassa. An elevator provides direct access to the second-floor galleries, where the dinner takes place.
