Saturday 1.12.2018, at 13–14

Curator of the exhibition Tamara Luuk interviews the artists in English.

Kunsthalle Helsinki is pleased to present the work of three leading Estonian artists of their generation: Alice Kask, Neeme Külm and Jass Kaselaan. The three artists work in different mediums, yet all share a common interest in exploring spatiality. Featuring painting, sculpture and installation, this co-production by Kunsthalle Helsinki and Tallinn Art Hall marks the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia.

Tamara Luuk (b. 1952) is an art historian and curator. She has written essays about contemporary art, translated and edited art books. Her previous positions include working for the European Union in Brussels representing Estonian culture, and as a researcher in the Estonian Academy of Sciences. She is currently working as the contemporary art curator at Tallinn Art Hall.
