Curator’s Guided Tours

Sunday 10.2. at 15–16
Sunday 17.2. at 15–16

Welcome to deepen your knowledge of Pauls Osipow’s works together with curator of the exhibition Kari Kenetti. Drawing from collaborative work and and a friendship that has lasted for almost 30 years, Kenetti provides insight to Osipow’s artistic practice (in Finnish). Gallerist Kari Kenetti has run a gallery in Helsinki in 1997–2002 and again from 2018 onwards.

In a career now spanning 60 years, Osipow has systematically pushed the limits of creative expression by exploring varied avenues of painting. The act and process of painting has always had focal emphasis in Osipow’s rich, varied oeuvre. Never adhering to any particular style or ideology, he draws inspiration from art history in his own inimitable way, celebrating the act of painting as an organic event through which colours and forms spontaneously find their place on the canvas.

Included in the admission: 12 € / 8 € / Museum Card / Finnish Art Society members and under 18 years – free admission
