At Kunsthalle Helsinki, you can experience drawing on a live model in the form of a performance.
Croquis, a drawing performance is a work by choreographer Sara Grotenfelt and visual artist Anna-Sofia Nylund that deals with observation and intimacy. During the performance the audience can draw nude bodies.
Sara Grotenfelt is a choreographer, performance-maker and performer. Lately Sara’s work has focused on tweaking the social and aesthetic conventions of the performance situation. Sara’s work has been shown at e.g. Zodiak Stage, Hangö teaterträff and Helsinki City Theatre. Her relation to drawing is complicated.
Anna-Sofia Nylund is a visual artist (University of the Arts Helsinki 2023) who works with video- and performance art. Her works has been shown at eg. Nuoret 2019, Taidehalli (Helsinki), Hangö teaterträff, Svenska Teatern, Galleria Huuto, Teater Viirus Guest, and Sinne gallery in Helsinki. Anna-Sofia has a passion for drawing.

Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the performance.
Ticket prices:
Normal ticket: 20 €
Discount ticket: 15 € with Museum Card, visitors under 25 years of age, pensioners, students, unemployed, members of artists’ unions and associations and members of the Finnish Art Association
The ticket price includes a visit to the exhibition. It is possible to stay to see the exhibition for half an hour after the performance.
