Anybody’s Architecture: Some Body is a dance piece that is built on combining architecture and dance. The piece is inspired by the architecture of the human body and the relationship between the body and architecture. The visual and experiential references of the piece are the shapes and moods of three iconic architectural structures: Löyly, Temppeliaukio Church, and Hvitträsk. They form an interesting historical timeline that progresses from contemporary architecture towards the year 1903.

The Anybody’s Architecture series consists of four individual solo dance pieces and one group choreography. The fifth part of the series that will be seen at Kunsthalle compiles, reorganises, and modifies the movement material of the first three pieces into a poetic and diverse group choreography.

Anybody’s Architecture: Some Body is a co-production of Ismo Dance Company and Ricardo Fernandes Gallery, that has been invited to perform at the Aestival Summer Contemporary Art Festival 2019 in Paris. The festival is curated by Ricardo Fernandes.
